Gardening Club

Gardening Club Many thanks to the parents and children who have been working quietly on improving the school garden. We’d like to formalise this to a regular Tuesday afternoon session. Parents and children are welcome to join us, weather permitting, every Tuesday from 14.30 to 17.00. If your child is interested in participating but you aren’t able to attend at that time, please speak with Matt to arrange their participation. You’re welcome to drop in for whatever time you can give and don’t have to commit to the full time period. Our next tasks are to assemble the com poster, finish preparing the herb garden and preparing the raised beds in the courtyard. Please join us on Tuesday!

Spring Fair

Spring Fair A big thank you to everyone for making the Spring Fair such resounding success. We raised €5364.30, which is an increase of 50% over last year! Details of the breakdown for each category will be discussed at the next Parent-Teacher Association Meeting.

Pupil Portfolio Sharing Meetings

Pupil Portfolio Sharing Meetings Parents are invited to make an appointment for portfolio sharing meetings. These will take place during the school day on several days over the next couple of weeks. This is a chance for the children to show their work in their portfolio to their parents. Then you’ll have a 10-minute meeting with your child’s class teacher. Details about how to make an appointment will follow. The dates for the meetings are as follows:

Junior and Senior Infants – Thursday, 16th May

1st and 2nd Classes – Thursday, 23rd May

3rd Class – Thursday, 6th June
