Coffee Morning
While it has been a tradition to have a coffee morning to support Galway Hospice, the current situation requires it to be a bit different again this year. Therefore, we are asking children to bring in a special treat for themselves to enjoy during the day (Friday, 24th September), and we will make a collection for Galway Hospice. No donation is too big or too small. Thanks in advance for your support.

Selling Herbs, Vegetables and Paper Briquettes
Also on Friday, we will be selling herbs and a few vegetables. We also will be selling paper briquettes that the Green School Committee made that can be burned in your stove or fireplace. This is a “name-yourprice” market, and the money raised will support our.

Third Class, as part of Culture Night events, participated in a Draw Along with Laureate na nÓg, Áine Ní Ghlinn.

Afterschool Clubs
Apologies for the delay with the start of afterschool clubs. We will announce early next week which activities will be available. Thanks for your patience. Of note, it appears that Music Generation is reorganising the afterschool music lessons, most likely with the lessons taking place at Coláiste na Coiribe rather than in our school. More information will follow soon.

New Basketball Hoops
Many thanks to Arturas and Andrius for building the fantastic new basketball hoops and backstops, complete with our school logo. Sincere thanks for your efforts and generosity! It was great to see different groups of children enthusiastically playing basketball during the breaks today.

Activities for Children
A number of organisations have been in touch with information about clubs and activities for children. See the attached flyers for more information. Please
contact these organisations directly if you are interested.
