We were delighted to welcome Eoghan Clifford, a parent in our school who also was a gold medalist at the 2016 Rio Paralympics and a World Champion cyclist. He visited several of the classes to talk about his experiences, show his medals and winning jersey and speak about the links between science, maths and cycling. Eoghan told us about this competition career, particularly fascinating the classes with what it takes to compete is indoor cycling in a velodrome. The children had great questions and were impressed by his commitment as an athlete.
