Ethos Survey
Many thanks to the parents that have completed the short ethos survey online. The survey is available here: https://forms.gle/QGDF96a9cNgoypBX9. We would ask everyone who has not completed it to do so this week. The survey should only take a couple of minutes. Thanks for taking the time to support the development of our learning community.

World Book Day
We will celebrate World Book Day on Thursday, 2nd March. Children are invited to dress as their favourite book character that day. We will also distribute the World Book Day vouchers this week.

Upcoming School Closures
A reminder that two school closures have been announced to support professional development for teachers related to the implementation of the Primary Language Curriculum. The first will be a full-day closure on Thursday, 16th March. A second half-day closure will take place on Friday, 28th April.

School Improvement Plan
The staff has developed a school improvement plan that seeks to address any challenges that have come from the extended closures related to the pandemic.
The plan has two areas of focus: handwriting and developing positive social relationships at school. The plan is attached to this email. At our assemblies we talking about different ways to develop positive, caring relationships in our school. Our current focus is on greeting people using their name and a smile.

Food Dudes Week
The school will participate in Food Dudes Week from 6th March. Children will have the opportunity to taste fruits and vegetables, and we will have a focus on healthy eating that week.

We’re delighted with the range of entrants submitted by children of the school to the Texaco Art Competition. The rest of the entries will be posted on the Creative Schools Committee section of our school website soon
