On the 5th of May our Student Council visited the Irish Centre for Human Rights in the University of Galway. We shared what we have learned and done to help our school be recognized as a Child Rights School. We learned about the work of the Irish Centre for Human Rights and how they are helping some children in other parts of the world defend their rights to an education and to a safe environment. We had very interesting conversations and we asked and answered a lot of questions. Afterwards, we visited the FlirtFm studio, and we got a guided tour. They also showed us how to make some fun sound effects using everyday items found in the room. We had a lot of fun!
