May Bank Holiday.

Quiz Champions
We are extremely proud of our winning quiz team who were declared the junior All-Ireland winners of the Credit Union Quiz. It was a fantastic result, and we also
want to acknowledge their excellent teamwork and cordial manners throughout the stages of the competition. They received individual prizes but also a sizeable cash prize for the school. We look forward to working with the team to decide how we will spend this. Well done to our amazing quiz team!

Active School Week
We are in the midst of our annual Active School Week. On Monday we were delighted to welcome Craig from Connaught Rugby who led a lesson with all the classes. On Tuesday, Hector, on work placement in the school and a trained basketball coach, gave a basketball lesson to all the classes. Today classes used the parachute or
did another PE activity. Tomorrow will be our last session with Laura from the Genevieve Ryan Dance Academy. Each class has greatly enjoyed the experience. We are grateful to the Parent-Teacher Association for funding such experiences using the
proceeds from last year’s Spring Fair. On Tuesday, we will have the qualifying races for City Sports. Finally, on Wednesday Matt will do a folk dance lesson with each
class.

FAI 5-a-side Soccer Tournament
We were delighted to have two teams represent our school in the interschool 5-a-side Soccer Tournament last week in Mervue. Both teams played well and had
a great day.
